Maran Yachtcharter has been involved in boat hire in Friesland for over 25 years. Our charming marina is ideally situated in the Friesland lakes area, close to the Sneekermeer lake.

Your holiday starts when you open the nearby bridge and set out to discover the Frisian lakes which are surrounded by many enchanting villages and old-fashioned towns, often with very well-equipped marinas and offering plenty of (cultural) activities.

Friesland has numerous so-called Marrekrite mooring places for more adventurous yachting enthusiasts where you can spend the night free of charge out in the open water.

The composition of our fleet, which varies from a large number of fully equipped polyester Falcons to cabin sailing yachts and motor yachts ranging from 22 to well over 34 feet, means that we can offer almost everyone the yacht they are looking for. That is one of the reasons why Maran Yachtcharter is on the tip of everyone’s tongue whenever the topic of yacht hire is discussed.

License ?

You do not need a navigation licence for any of our vessels. However, we do expect you to have a reasonable amount of sailing experience. If you feel you are not quite up to the task, you can always take a few sailing lessons on the hired vessel. In general, it will only take 3 hours to get your sailing skills up to scratch.

Garantee !

We rent boats exclusively in accordance with the Hiswa conditions. These have been drawn up in consultation with consumers’ organisations. The Hiswa association also has its own arbitration board. We comply in full with any judgement this board may make.
